If we have a subdomain, will the ConverseKit be removed? For example, we are considering creating a help desk that will be under a subdomain "help.collegelivingsocial.com". Since it will have chat features, we were hoping that logged in users will not see their normal chat through ConverseKit to make it less confusing.
Hi there,

I believe you've installed another Joomla instance at your sub domain? If yes, you still can install conversekit in your sub domain but we will not provide any support to your sub domain as your Conversekit subscription is currently registered under your main domain.

Let me know if I've mis-understood your question.
Please advise.

Hope this help and have a nice day

Hi Sam!

Thanks for the help! I have installed ConverseKit on my main domain (collegelivingsocial.com). However, we do NOT want it to appear on the help desk which we intend putting on a subdomain of help.collegelivingsocial.com.

I wanted to know if a subdomain is considered a second domain in referring to your licensing processes. We want to make sure we do not have ConverseKit on the subdomain.

Hi Michel Gephart,

Yup, that is correct. A subdomain is considered a second domain on our product licensing. You can install our products in your second domain, however, you will not be able to utilise the 'network installation' aka one click update installer. Also, you will be able to obtain any support on your second domain from our support teams.

However, we do NOT want it to appear on the help desk which we intend putting on a subdomain of help.collegelivingsocial.com.

Yup, if you do not want to use conversekit in your second domain, you are safe to uninstall from your second domain since its another Joomla instance

Hope this help and have a nice day
