Currently we do not display these items in conversations in a lightbox because the current lightbox system relies heavily on the photos and albums within EasySocial. If it's not part of an album, there's no way to utilize that lightbox currently. This is why it loads up on a new page instead as this would allow users to download / view them.

We'll see what can be done in the future versions (probably we need to implement a simple lightbox for non photo / albums items)
