Control Activity Stream Posts?

I can't seem to find a way to remove some activities from the stream that are a bit overwhelming to users. I know we can hide them on an individual level, but some things are good to keep from the stream as a default. My concern right now is keeping the installations of Applications from flooding the stream. Can I do that?
Hello Troy,

Go to the back end of EasySocial > Applications . Then, edit the application called "User - Apps". You will then see the stream settings and you just need to disable the one highlighted in my screen shot here, http://screencast.com/t/BsTV7BX9
