Hello!

I hope you're well.

I have an issue with my EasyDiscuss page: I think it could be a jquery issue, although (like my EasyBlog component which is also having possible jquery issues) I have not installed anything new lately, nothing has changed.

As you can see on the ED front page, the threads load fine, but then if I click the tabs popular or latest or unresolved, etc, nothing loads at all. This is the first problem. Anything else that uses jquery (or ajax, I'm not sure) doesn't work at all. I don't know why this is.

What do you think is causing the problem?

I'm very grateful for all of your support, thank you for your time.

Best,
Ben
Hello Ben,

This issue is actually pretty similar to your "quick posting" issue because the AJAX calls are being made to http://www.eslrok.com/?option=com_xxx but it looks like when it's accessed this way, the page is only a blank page. If i try to access http://www.eslrok.com/ it also returns a blank page.

Hello, and thanks for your reply.

The address for the forums is: http://www.eslrok.com/index.php?option=com_easydiscuss&view=index&Itemid=582 (it includes index.php). This will help you see the ED front page. Thanks again.

Hello Ben,

Yeah, but the ajax calls in EasyDiscuss are being sent to http://www.eslrok.com/?option=com_easydiscuss and the site seems to display a blank page when accessing via http://www.eslrok.com/ without the index.php . Can you please advise?

Ah, I see, thanks for noticing that.

The blank page eslrok.com is to stop people from accessing the site while we are still building it, so we access the test site using eslrok.com/index.php. We will soon change the home page to eslrok.com (without index.php) but we are not at that stage yet.

How can we redirect so that the ajax calls from an address that includes index.php?

Thanks again for your support and patience.

Hello Ben,

I guess this is actually a same issue as http://stackideas.com/forums/quick-post-function-not-working-at-all . Let's use the other thread instead
