Hi

I use the 1.7.3 ver of Komment on J! 3.2.1
I have set up Komento to send email notifications both to Super Users and Content authors on new and pending comments as well as replies0
I have entered also a cron job using your example.

The problem is that the surer users receive the email notification but the Content authors not.

The scenario is like this:
A guest user submits a comment to a J! article giving his email address.
The Super User receives the email notification to moderate the pending comment and approve or disapprove.
The guest user doesn't receive anything as it should??

Other questions is:
The email is sent every x minutes according to the cron job?
The cron jobs is obligatory for sending emails from Komento?

Thanks
Hi,

1. Guest will not receive emails unless guest provides email address, and tick on the "subscribe" checkbox, then the guest will receive subsequent comment's email notification.
2. If you like the content authors to receive emails, then enable the option at Komento -> Integrations -> Select Component -> Notification -> Email -> Notify Content Author
3. Cron job is not obligatory as there is an alternative option to send email through "send email on page load", but cron job is the recommended way to do it.
4. Email is sent every cycle depending on the cronjob.
