Hello,

I'm testing the group feature of Easysocial 1.2 RC4 (love it) and more particularly the discussion feature. I was hoping that the discussions between Easysocial group and Easydiscuss was going to be connected (if both installed)

It would be great that if a user create a discussion in a group, he can decide if he want the discussion to appear in easydiscuss as well (depending of the group privacy...). That way, all the discussions are visible from one place (easydiscuss) and could help connect users as well as user discover new groups...

Even better if it is actually easydiscuss that is use for group discussions.

Do you plan any integration in the future?

Thanks
Hello,

Yep, we do have plans for this in the future and you would see more awesome and cool stuffs for Groups soon as we are only in the beginning phase for the Groups

Hey thank you so much for the answer.

Quick last questions:

If I create a discussion into easydiscuss, Will it be possible to make make it part of the group discussion later on? Or the other way around? (like for easyblog, I can create a blog and later on, make it part of a group blog when updating it...)

Could you explain a little how the two components will be connected?

I'm asking because I need to decide how to organize discussions between groups and easydiscuss...

Thanks.

Hello,

I am really sorry but this is currently not possible right now but we do have plans to create a group blogging addon for EasySocial in the near future along with EasyBlog 4.0 It will be free too since we are maintaining it.

Hello Fofilou,

We are still working on easyblog 5 and upon prior release easyblog 5 we will start working on easysocial 1.4. We will inform our progress via blog post from time to time

In addition, please refrain yourself from sending same queries on multiple forum post as it will cause confuse on both us and users. Hope you understand
