Hi

I've installed Komento on my website - http://www.stereolife.eu - and after a couple of days I discovered there is one small problem with it. The extension works fine, but it caused a conflict with an image gallery on my website. I blamed the gallery at first, so I tried to install another one, and another one, and strangely the problem remains the same. So I turned Komento off for a minute and everything was fine with the gallery. The problem is that pictures in galleries are dimmed when you try to view them in a lightbox. This occurs only when browsing on mobile devices. I tried this with Simple Image Gallery (free) and Responsive Gallery by Addon Street (paid) - it was the same everytime. I think this may be some jquery conflict, but I'm not an expert. This may be a small problem, but I also plan to install other extensions from SI and I'm afraid they will generate similar conflicts. I'll try to attach a screen from Nexus 7, so you can see what i'm on about. Maybe someone has a similar problem, or perhaps members of SI team will know what is the possible cause and how to cure it?

Link and screenshot are in the attachments to this post. If you view the link on a tablet or smartphone, you will see the problem. I tried to turn off various things in the Komento settings, but it didn't help. Now I really don't have any idea what to do. I like the comments so much, but installing every possible gallery is not a solution. Help please?
Hello,

Is it possible for you to provide us with the back end and FTP access to your site to check on this issue?

Yes, of course. I transfered the site to a different domain, so you can play with it and do whatever you have to. I've sent you all the server data and passwords via e-mail.

Thanks for a quick reply. I hope something can be done to cure this...

Sure, the website is copied to a different domain, so here you go:

http://www.gosigkatt.pl

Galleries are in the Reviews section in each article.

Thanks for your replies. I hope something can be done about this...

Hello Tomasz,

I've fixed it for you. I've added an extra css code in your template.css file. Here is screenshot from my phone: https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/27330691/Screenshot_2014-04-08-17-35-45.png . Hope this helps.

Hi Nik

Wow, thanks for that. Images look nice, but I see there is still a problem with the gallery toolbox - those 5 buttons above the picture. Do you think you can make these work as well?

And can you please tell me where exactly is this extra line of code? I will write it down somewhere, because I'm planning to install a couple of new things on the website and this might come useful at some point;-)

Thanks!

Hello Tomasz,

I've fixed it for you. What I did was, add an extra css code in your ../templates/gk_music_free/css/template.css. The added codes are at the bottom of the files. Hope this helps.

Wow! Big thanks Nik! Now it works everywhere.

I'm starting to think that maybe installing another gallery wouldn't be necessary after all. This one has just one problem - the thumbnails are not being cropped, so the vertical ones are different, which makes the gallery look slightly stupid. I figured out that the thumbnails are kept in one directory (cache/jw_sig) so I cropped them manually and deleted a line of code which was responsible for making new ones everytime, but after installing Komento this "useful" feature also went wrong and now thumbnails are generated each 24 hours I think. Do you have any idea how to stop it? I can crop thumbnails each time I add a new gallery with vertical photos, but to do it every day is too much for me. Can you help me with that also?

Anyway, I owe you a big bottle of vodka;-)

Hello Tomasz,

We can't really identify the cause since Komento didn't control any image. Komento using attachment which is not related to media manager. You might want to consult the plugin developer about this issue and let them fix it once and for all.
