Hello,

I'm currently reworking our subscriptions from "Membership Pro" to "PayPlans" because the former does not allow for one user to have multiple subscriptions for the same plan. So far, "PayPlans" looks to be awesome

However, I have some difficulties to configure one of our subscription plans and I was wondering if you could provide some insight into the best way of handling this type of subscription. FYI: We configure Joomla! sites and manage everything else in respect to these sites. One subscription we offer is rather particular and it would be appreciated if you could point us in the right direction...

We have a subscription that allows clients to pay for their (development and use of the) website on a monthly basis. No "development" fee is asked directly. Just a monthly invoice is sent. These monthly payments are necessary for at least one year. After that year, the client may proceed to stop the agreement. If there is no demand to halt the agreement, the subscription simply continues until the client stops it later. The client may proceed to stop the subscription at any month after the first year.

I am not sure as to how I should configure this plan in "PayPlans" efficiently. Could you share some advice? How would you use "PayPlans" to do this?
Hi Greet,

Depending on which payment method you use, only certain payment gateways allow cancellation of recurring payments.

As for not allowing cancellation for the first year and allow it after, unfortunately this is not possible currently. If cancellation is allowed, users can do so the moment they subscribe.
