configure read more in frontpage settings

Under settings > layout I have set the Read More to Show read more only when necessary and paragraphs to show as 2.

When I look at the front page, only one paragraph shows and the words "read more" link is not visible.

I see an 3 periods which I am thinking is the link but they dont do anything,

How do I get the term Read \more to appear?

I've checked in your site, it seems like the read more link is appear on your blog listing page, am i missing something here? please advise.

Oh geez, I was looking for the words Read More... duh

How do I increase the font size on the Continue Reading link? I have not been able to find that in the .css files.

    font-size: 20px !important;
