I'm actually building the site on staging.lawenforcement.social.

When I click on membership in the top menu, it takes me to the "Select to Subscribe" page. How do I change this wording?

Second, when I click on subscribe now, it takes me to a page which makes the person either login or register. This should actually be a page where they create their account username and password, then enter their payment details. In my particular situation, registered users would not need to pay for a subscription. They already are allowed into the site. How do I make it so they go to a page like I'm describing.

Third, I can't find a Joomla Registration plugin in my website. How do I get it?
Hey Mike,

I am really sorry for the delay of this reply as it is a weekend for us here. Please find my response to your questions below:

You may find this in the language file located in /language/en-GB/en-GB.com_payplans.ini . Just search for the following text,

[gist]
COM_PAYPLANS_PLAN_SELECT_PLAN_HEADING="Select to subscribe"
[/gist]

Not sure if I understand your workflow here. Do you mean if they are logged in, they don't have to pay?

You may find this under Apps > Apps Store and search for "Joomla registration". Then, install the app.

Hi Mark,

What I mean is if a new person, who does not have an account, comes to the subscribe page, It's not clear what they should do. It shows the subscription description on the left, the login on the right, and register below that.

The way I would like it to work is that they see the subscription and click to subscribe. From there, it should go to a page where they create a username and password, and enter their payment information. After that is done, I would like the typical administrator email to be sent so an admin can approve their access to the website.

Is this possible?

Hey Mike,

Hm, unfortunately that is not possible because this is the workflow of PayPlans. The user would need to login or register for an account first. If they are already logged in, clicking on the subscribe button would then render the ordering form to choose their payment method.

Hi Mark,

Is there a way to make this more understandable to the customer? For example, how do I redirect them from the subscribe now button on my Membership tab to them creating an account, then redirecting them to the credit card input page?

Are you referring to the process of a non logged in user trying to subscribe to a plan? The process is already pretty simplified and not sure how else to simplify this. This is what happens when a non logged in user clicks on the subscribe button:

1. Click on the subscribe button on the plans page.
2. User chooses to either login or register
3. Upon logging in or registering, it would redirect them to the payments selection and details page.
