Is there a way to compress and set auto max width of uploaded photos as attachment in easydiscuss ?
many users upload pictures that are more than 4000pixels in width. i have found a plugin at https://www.firecoders.com/joomla-extensions/econa
that does auto resize images in articles maybe such an extension can implemented as add-on on easydiscuss?

Unfortunately currently it is not possible to set restrictions for the resolution or auto resize when uploading photos in EasyDiscuss's built-in editor or attachments.

But if you are able to upload images with those restrictions in other Joomla editors like TinyMce or JCE, or if you are fine with not uploading images as attachments, you can always use those editors in EasyDiscuss.
