Just installed EasyBlog and when I click on Compose or New Post a white box with a red X in the upper right corner pops up. When I wait for a minute for something to show up I give up and click the red X and it then says.. "Close Confirmation: Are you sure you want close the composer?" Cancel / Close
I've tried to hit Cancel and see if it would refresh but still no luck so I have to click the red X again and choose close.

Any ideas?
Hey Dennis,

Hm, I believe there are some errors on the page that prevented the composer to load. By any chance, do you happen to have Rokbox installed? If you do, you need to follow the guide here, http://stackideas.com/docs/easyblog/administrators/troubleshooting/conflicts-with-rokbox

If you have already done this or if you do not have rokbox installed, please provide us with the back end and FTP access to help you troubleshoot this

I don't have rokbox installed. I tried another theme by joomforest but same results. I added details in the Site Details Tab of my account so hopefully you can access the site. Let me know if you have any issues or need me to do something. The site is still in setup stage so feel free to change what you need to in effort to troubleshoot and hopefully find the issue to help others that may have the same issue.

Even more troubleshooting... I have discovered I can open composer from the backend fine. I found that if I had the Blog Welcome module, I can select New Post and the composer opens. It just doesn't work when I use New Post (Compose) from the menu or if I click on the pencil (new post) the composer does not display anything. Very strange but hopefully that helps come up with a solution.

Hi Dennis,

I am really sorry for the delay of this reply.

I just tried to replicate the issue on both backend and frontend but it seems like the composer is loaded fine from my end. Refer my video link here, http://screencast.com/t/yRSZzxHROTC .

Am I missing something here? Please advise.

Hey Alexey,

I am really sorry for the delay of this reply as it is a weekend for us here.

Yes, it would be best you can start a new thread and provide us with your Joomla backend and FTP access so we can better have a check on this issue.

By the way, please remember to assign your domain to your license to obtain for support in the future. You can do so by accessing your license area at http://stackideas.com/dashboard

Hello Arlex,

Thank you for your reply.
I have added the domain. Meanwhile the issue was resolved after disabling the menu item, switching composer from EB to Standard Editor and then enabling everything back...not sure what the issue was about, but it works at the moment. I will let you know if the issue reoccur.

Regards,
Alex
