Hello,

we use Easyblog for our Intranet-Solution and are very happy with it so far.
Unfortunately a week ago an error on the frontend editor occured; for no apparent reason the content-blocks don't render properly anymore. Their height is much bigger than the actual content.

This is odd, since the backend composer, which seems to use the same css and javascript, works perfectly fine.
I fiddled around with it for a while and compared the css classes, but can't figure out what's wrong with it.
Unfortunately we can't give you access to our site that easily, since it's not reachable from outside of our company network.

If the issue can't be solved otherwise though, we technically create a temporary access.
I hope this issue can be resolved without it though. I attached two screenshots showing the working backend-editor and the messed up frontend-editor.

We are using the most recent version of EasyBlog and Joomla
Hi there,

Unfortunately, it is required for us to access your site in order to further check this issues.

Is it possible for you to provide us with the back end and FTP access to your site to check on this issue? Maybe you can setup us a staging/test site so that we can look them further.

Thanks for your understanding.

Hello,

I created an external access and added the url to the initial post.
Providing an FTP-Access might take some additional time, since we don't have any FTP-Provider configured on the webserver to begin with.

Thanks for the quick response~

Hi there,

Thanks for those access

I have checked them and i am not really sure which and what causing this issues on your end as i dont have access to your FTP to further check this issues. From the look of it, it is coming from your current template as when i tried to change to default Joomla template, it seems to works without any issues. Whilst getting your FTP, maybe you can try to consult with them first(your current template service provider) and see if they can check whether this issues coming from their end or not.

By the way, for current workaround, i have create a new menu for your composer and set them to protostar as you can see here https://screencast.com/t/9NZZxKM8D2(hidden from your frontend). Can you give it a check and see how it goes.

The workaround works perfect!
I'd consider the ticket resolved for now. Knowing the problem is connected to the template, narrows things down a bit and I'll follow your advice of getting in contact with our template provider.
I checked the recent changelogs of the template and it mentions compatibility issues with newer versions of EasyBlog, so there might be an update scheduled for this month anyway.

Thanks a bunch for your quick and awesome support though.
Really appreciate it.
