I've just purchased and enabled JFBC, for logins and registrations, its working perfectly.

But as many custom fields are not getting imported from facebook, the user pages shows " Your profile is 65% complete. Complete your profile now." If a user clicks on complete your profile link, it opens profile edit page, so far its good.

Now the issue arises, as i have profile work flow in three steps 1) Basic Information 2) Personal Info 3) Appearance.
If the user fills in all the info in the first profile edit page (Basic Information) and clicks "Save" or "Save & Close", a popup appears "There are some fields that you cannot leave them blank. Please fill up the highlighted fields before you proceed. "

This is true as the pending fields are on the next tab under workflow set 2, and the user sees no highlight on current page, so an average user gets confused, as he does not realize that he has to click on "About" module on right and then click on "Personal Info" and then fill in the rest of the fields.

If there are Mandatory fields in the 2nd set then the page will not allow the user to proceed at all.

This is a UX Issue, ideally the popup should save and redirect to the next page in workflow.

Is there any way i can overcome this?

regards
Sunny
Hi Sunny,

Thanks for your feedback,

Unfortunately that was not possible in this point of time, we will see if we can improve this in the future.

You need to put all the custom fields into the "basic information" section as seen in this screen shot:

Once that is done, remove the other two sections.

Hi Sunny,

Sorry for confusing in earlier,

Yes, you can try using Josh suggested at above.

Go to your backend > Easysocial > profile type > select your profile type > custom field tab

Hope this help.
