Is Vanilla compatible with PHP7.1? I am getting an error to switch in the backend, but when I do the whole site errors.
Hi Bethany,

By right Vanilla template will be compatible with php 5.6 to php 7.2. Perhaps you can provide us with your Joomla backend and FTP access so that we can check on the issue directly on your site?

Updated the original inquiry to include FTP and admin username. I use CloudAccess, which is where I change the PHP version. Let me know if you need that as well.

Hey there,

I am really sorry for the delay of this reply as it is a weekend for us here.

May i know what PHP version you running on your current site now?

If you already switch back that PHP version to 5 , then we need your CloudAccess login access so we can switch to PHP 7.1 and see what is the error you hitting.

And can you guide us how to switch the PHP version from CloudAccess and which page showing those error ?

By the way, I was unable to login on your site backend, this is what i hitting now :

Sorry for the long delay here. I am having REAL issues with this template, I just opened another ticket. Nothing I do in settings is reflected on the front end. Anyway I just checked the credentials for the stackideas user that is given and it works for me. I can add cloudaccess.net login I guess, but it breaks the site and takes it down, so I am not wanting to do that during peak hours. How can we address that?

No problem Bethany, currently I am not sure when your site is not peak hours, but you can let us know when we can test on this or perhaps you can consider to setup one of the staging site for this, then only switch this staging site to PHP 7.1 so we can investigate this on this staging site.
