Hm, testing this locally, and it seems to be working fine for me. Tested this on http://demo.stackideas.com and it works too.

hmm non of the two work for me on the Version 37.0.2055.2 of Google Canary for OS X, but maybe it is also because I am running OS X Yosemite 10.10? But it is odd that it works on all my other browsers.

I downloaded and reinstalled Canary and upgraded to todays build in the process (Version 37.0.2057.3 Canary)... and it still doesn't work.

It is definitely a problem with Canary build though, because it works on my normal Google Chrome build.

By the way, I wouldn't worry too much about Canary compatibility, as let's face it, it is a daily build and people who use it are aware that things break. But I figured I might as well inform you, you never know what you might get out of testing it on Canary.
