Same here.
WHW1 hosting has installed a completely new version of Joomla (3.x.x) and so it is default everything, except for G Adsense module added, and your Komento module added, and so not much there to mess things up. I just do not seem to be able to get the Comments section to show. If I put it to odd places like Left or Right or footer, then I see the page shift or just a message, and the message says "Warning: Invalid argument supplied for foreach() in /home20/renamedpath1/renamedpath1-2/modules/mod_komento_comments/tmpl/default.php on line 17". With some other positions, simply nothing shows.
In case it matters, fairly new versions of Perl, PHP, and anything else your code may use, are installed on this hosting account. I read somewhere else that that setting are set too high, and that message is not related to the module working or not working. I wouldn't know.

Hello NA,

Can you specify which module are you using here? And for Komento, we only have 2 modules (Activities and Comments). Also, can you provide us your backend and FTP access so we can have a better look here? Please advise.

Okay, some how I got it to show, and now I need to go back and see if I can reproduce the problem.
I have it set it to show on Left-Bottom. Does both Komento Activities and Komento Comments need to be Activated for the Comments section to show? Not sure yet if other variables were changed, but I know that the Activities was disabled, and only the Comments was enabled. At the moment both are enabled and both set to show on Left-Bottom.

Hello NA,

Comment section doesn't need those modules to be activated.

Now I am puzzled more. I have deactivated both (by that I mean that both modules are showing as unpublished), and yet the comments section continues to show. First, I was not able to get it to show, and now I cannot get it to stop showing. Huh.

Hello NA,

I'm sorry, I kind of lost here. Did you want to hide the comment section? Which comment section you are referring to? You can provide us some screenshots. Or you can provide us your backend and FTP access so we can have a better look on your issue here.

The following Comment bubbles and Comment sections continue to show on pages. First image is Comment section showing on Home page, and last two images on a Test post. Again note that the Komento Comments and Activities are both set to Unpublished. Well, actually, the Activities module was Active at the time of taking those images, but after setting that module to Unpublished (thus both set to Unpublished), the same thing still shows. Is it correct that I am still seeing a Comments section and Comment bubble? Are both those areas on the 3rd image from Komento modules as asked on the image itself? In other words, I should be able to disable Comments and not have them show?

OMG! Finally, I found where to go and disable the Comment bubble (Components >> Komento>>Integrations>>Workflow).
Still trying to figure out how to disable the whole Comments section from showing without having to uninstall the modules.
Did you want to hide the comment section?

So, yes, how does one Hide or disable the Comments section?

Wow, again, finally. So, it is Plugins related. Disabling the Content - Komento did not seem to do anything. Disabling the System - Komento made the Comment Section go away. The Comment Bubbles are gone too.
Okay, so what does the modules of Komento Comments and Komento Activities do for me? Any links explaining this?

UPDATE: Using link of docs from here: http://stackideas.com/docs/komento. Even doing things exactly as indicated on the docs still resulted in Comment functions either not showing when expected to show, or showing when expected not to show. But after waiting, and clearing caches and using new browser, the setting changed did seem to show up. Don't know if something else I did triggered this to show correctly, or just a set period of wait needed.
Also, I think what is causing the confusion is some kind of delay or cache delay may exist with Joomla, and so even though setting changes are done, a prior cached display is shown if you had accessed that page recently. Not sure how long the cache clearing or update period is, but I do believe it is within half an hour. Just a guess, if my observation is correct. Created a good amount of frustration because it makes it look like as if it is not working.

Hello NA,

Please correct me if I'm wrong. You want to use the modules but not the comment section? Then, how to post comment in your blog? The modules is used to displayed comments/activities made in Komento. If the Komento is turned off, there will be no comment/activities made. What you can do here, hack the komento file to hide the comment section. You cannot turn off the plugin. It will fail the komento. May I know what you are trying to achieve here? It would be easier for us if you can provide us your backend and FTP access.

By the way, it looks like your account isn't tied up with Professional Plan. Is there any mistake on our end? Would it be possible for you to contact us at https://crm.stackideas.com and provide us with the order reference and your username so that we can fix this up for you?
