Hi

It seems my comments on group posts have locked up and registered people who are members of group can't comment.

Thanks
Rob
Hey Rob,

Hm, not entirely sure how to reproduce this issue, could you provide me the steps taking to reproduce this? I tried accessing your site and was able to post comment in a group without any issues, http://take.ms/gPuEHm

Hi Mark

If you log in now front end, I have removed your super user permission and you can't now comment on pages or group posts.

Thanks
Rob

Hey Rob,

Hm, this is odd. Can you please edit the post and include the super admin and FTP access so that I can check on this.

Hey Rob,

Thanks! It works. Ah, it seems like the group category are missing these new fields, http://take.ms/AoD4N . Once I have added them, they are working fine now

No problem Rob. All you need to do now is to assign those fields into each category. In EasySocial 2.1, we have added workflows so you could configure groups / events category to use workflows instead so you don't have to do this manually for each category.

Hi Mark

Okay I will set and test, can I claim the tester account back for a min or do you still need to do anything?

Thanks
Rob

Hey Rob,

Sure, go ahead. You may also delete my test account imarklee too because I set a relatively simple password for that account for testing purposes only.

Hey Rob,

Hm, that is odd because I was able to see the comment form as a normal user. Can you set user tester01 with super admin privileges again?

Ah okay I see the problem. It seems like you have set the privacy for comments on your posts to your friends only, http://take.ms/Hi37m . I have reset it to registered users and it works fine now.
