Hi guys.
I'm slightly confused by something here. If I post a blog on my website, and someone comments on it in the stream, those comments show up on the Easyblog module "Latest comments", but they don't show up in the comments section on the blog itself even though I've used the EasySocial comments integration. Similarly, if I post a comment on the blog itself under the Easysocial comments, they don't show up in the timeline against the blog post stream item, and it does not show up on the Easyblog latest comments module,
As a side issue, if a comment is made under the blog entry on the stream, it effectively double posts, but showing the comment under the original blog post entry on the stream as well as creating a new stream item, which in my opinion shouldn't be the case.
If you want to see what I am looking at, have a look in the stream for the post "Using Hashtags and Mentions on Guys4Guys".
Is there a reason why this is happening?
Dave
Hello Dave,

This is actually the default behavior. If you post a comment in EasySocial's stream, those comments are only tied to the stream within EasySocial. In other words, they are both not related.

Another bad thing. As a Social bundle I presumed that such things work. Honestly this is getting more and more disappointing having bought several components from the same source but they do not interact appropriative.

I have two different comments about the the same thing at two different places. Why does it not work though I am using EasySocial comments for EasyBlog? Comments made inside the stream do even show up in the backend of EasyBlog comments. But nothing good to find here. It gets even worse. If I post a comment to the stream post of a blog post, the comment itself creates a new stream post, which can be commented seperately.

Seriously, I need comments which sync with each other. I have EasySocial comments on EasyBlog and this must be working vice versa. I really apologize for my last threads and being harsh for the last time. But you need to understand my side. I bought all components from one hand, finished my site, invested in marketing a lot of cash, and the moment the site grows, I find more and more missing basic function which have to be there for running a professional site. How should a site work with different comments at different places about the same thing?

Hey Sabih,

Thank you for your kind concern regarding on this. I believe we have talked about this and we will be planning to improve this behavior for easydiscuss and easyblog comment integration with easysocial in the future.
