Folks are able to make comments to blog posts fine... but it won't let me (as the admin account and signed in) make comments to their comments/answer their questions... and since we promote folks to ask us questions this is a big issue. When I am logged in as the admin account I click "reply" to a comment and then type the reply and once I hit "submit" the processing gets stuck in processing and won't post my comment, no matter how long I wait, how many times I try it again, etc... see attachment

consequently- the site also isn't reading the admin avatar correctly for the commenting part- not sure if these are related
Hello Brad,

Is there any component or plugin you installed earlier before this happened to your site? Can you please provide us with the Joomla back end access as well as the FTP access so that I can check on the issues on your site? We actually need these information so that we can debug on your issues quickly.

Thanks:)

Mohd Yasser- simply commenting is not the problem- I described the problem in my initial posting and also provided a screenshot-- I can't comment (as the admin) to other folks comments... which is a problem becasue they ask questions and I need to be able to answer them

Hello Brad,

I am sorry for the late reply.

I have check your site, it seems like one of your plugin is causing this problem. There is a javascript conflict in your site.
I have disable : System - jQuery Easy in your plugin manager and the commenting system is now worked.

Hope this will work.
Thanks.

okay- whatever you just did has knocked out all of our slideshows- on the homepage and elsewhere in the site---like here... there's supposed to be a slideshow running in that big white space (that happens to be our homepage)

sorry but I had to turn System - jQuery Easy back on... if it's turned off our slideshows disappear-- is there another solution because if disabling it means we have no slideshows then that's not going to work

Hi Brad,

I am sorry for the delay of this reply.

Regarding your issue, I added the javascripts into your jQuery Easy plugin under the Ignore Scripts area, please see screencast.com/t/hKV77TXGMW
Now your comment is working correctly. Please verify again

Hope this help and have a nice day

that worked, but it's not pulling the avatar that gets pulled when I make a post using that account... also all the slideshows I have created for blog posts have disappeared (see attachment)-- all blank white space are slide shows that are now missing- I have 3 total posts that are now missing their slideshows-- and creating slideshows within posts is something I will continue doing

Hello Brad,

I am sorry for the late reply.
Can you explain more because I cant replicate the problem with your site. Perhaps you need to clear your browser cache and site cache.
If the issues are still persist, please do explain more where exactly the issues.

Please be advise.
Thanks.

Hi Brad,

Better compatibility with jQuery Easy (also other js compressors like JCH Optimizer, Rokbooster) was added in newer versions of EasyBlog.
I have updated EasyBlog on your site and they are working fine now.

Hi Brad,

I am sorry for the delay of this reply.

Regarding your EasyBlog items in your Joomla smart search, strange, I logged into your site and I did not see EasyBlog finder plugin ( used in Smart Search ) installed on your site. Please see attached image 'smart-search.png'.

You will need to download EasyBlog finder plugin from here http://stackideas.com/downloads/plugins/easyblog and look for the plugin named 'EasyBlog smart search plugin.'

Hope this help and have a nice day
