I know there is a feature to run something in the backend to fix this, but it's happening every day for me at the moment.

Is there a way to just stop this happening ... or increasing something so it doesn't happen.

In other words, I think this is a bug ...
Hello Damien,

Hm, sorry but I don't quite get you here. What do you mean by the comments losing order?

If you look at this page:

http://www.thevillablog.co.uk/aston-villa-blog/avfc-news/statement-day-at-aston-villa/

then scroll down -- you'll see the order of comments isn't as it is supposed to be.

Hello Damodamo,

I am sorry for the delay of this reply.

Regarding your issue, look like the 'lft' and 'rgt' comments boundary messed up thus the ordering is not correct. Can you do a backup on this db table `jos_komento_comments` and then go to your Komento backend under configuration -> database -> update database and run the fix to restructure the lft / rgt values on the comments.

Please see http://screencast.com/t/1lxWV75cE

You might want to select the blog post ID that you are having this issue so that the processing time will be shorter
Hope this help and have a nice day

Hello,

By right when you delete a comment, the lft and rgt boundaries should be re-calculate again but sometime things might go wrongs thus we have that maintenance for you to execute if something bad happened during the recalculation

Hope this help and have a nice day!

Hello,

Em, that strange. We will keep an eyes on this one and see if anyone else having the same issues or not. For now, if the same issue happen again, what you can do is run the maintenance

Thanks and have a nice day
