I cannot add comments to my test site. I go to several area of my site and try entering a comment, but nothing shows up in admin screen that lists comments. Totally empty. There is NO moderation of comments. Note:after entering a comment, I get a red button that says "Saving" but it never goes away (screen-shot attached)
Please advise
Thanks

I am updating this entry shortly ... working on it now ...

UPDATE:
OK. I see what appear to be three nice components, fairly well made, that facilitate: commenting (Komento), forums (EasyDiscuss) and blogging (EasyBlog). But they don't seem to work together well, at least programatically. At least I can't figure them out. A business intelligence architect/computer scientist (20 years) by trade, I see an enormous quantity of configuration combinations/interactions. Gotta be in the thousands, hundreds of thousands of possible combinations and I know that no very talented developer is accounting for all those possible interactions! So I try and wrap my head around the Social Components Architecture of the StackIdeas package of components. Maybe I am a social moron but I see three distinct areas: comments, disussions and blogs. And it is my INITIAL intent to separate these social concepts on my Web communities. I have exhaustively gone through the countless settings of these components yet: all my articles end up as "Discussion Items", all my blogs end up as "Discussion Items" (I delete them from Discussion items and they keep coming back) and I can't add a comment in the repository. That is, I go to articles, I go to blogs, I go to discussion topics and add a comment and it does not show up in the admin console, "Comments Management", "Comments" tab. My module "Recent Comments" is empty.
So I ask, what is going on here? For starters, how about just getting me able to enter comments and show up in the "Recent Comments" module!
Thanks

I am always asked for access to my site. At a template vendor they wanted my CPanel access!!! I am on localhost now developing the site and it is not easy to deploy everything out to web server to allow someone to take a look. Please try and give some help based on my description of the issues. Soon I will be uploaded. Thanks

Hello Mark,

To be honest, we can't give you an answer up front because we really have no idea why it's not being stored because there are over 100 different possibilities which causes the comments to fail I am probably just suspecting that this could be "plugins" interference but don't quote me on this because it may be something else.
