Hi, using Joomla 3.7.2 and most recent Easyblog.

I cannot configure my comments section to be visible and active for public...only signed-in users post and use the comment section.

It was working prior to updating.

Please help. Thanks,
Randy
Hello Randy,

I am really sorry for the delay of this reply as it is a weekend for us here. I have helped you to configure the ACL in EasyBlog to allow "Public" groups to be able to post comments and view comments.

I have tried viewing the page at http://becht.com/blog/due-diligence-front-end-loading-for-plant-acquisitions as a guest and it is showing up correctly now.

Just for your information, by default EasyBlog does not allow guests to post comment as some site owners just leave the original settings after installing EasyBlog and doesn't realize that they have received spams.

Thanks Mark for taking care of this over the weekend. I really apprecitate it.

I did not know you needed to configure the ACL to enable comments visible for Public. I now see what you did.

Is this item in your documentation? Did I miss it?

So when I update EasyBlog the next time, will I need to change that configuration item in ACL?

I think currently we do not have docs for this, but we will see if we can do something about this in our Easyblog documentation page.

Nope, you do not need to re-configure again when you update Easyblog next time.
