Comments and Komento App, do I need both?

I have Komento integrated with Joomla and EasyBlog, with the Comments and Komento apps installed on EasySocial.

The content output of both apps is the same, I assume the Comments app is for people who do not have Komento and I do not need to have both installed on EasySocial?
Hello Richard,

The comments app is the older version of the app and the new version is actually called Komento. You may remove the old app
