Hi,

Think this is just a setting or two that I need pointing towards!

If you look at This Blog then I think that the 'Like Loading...' just after the writing is because I've not set the FB app properly?

Also...commenting....

What would be the advantage of having Komento, Built in Comments, Easysocial Comments and Facebook Comments?
How do they differ?
I really just want the comments to be displayed in a 'Latest Comments' module on some pages and also in the ES stream?

Many thanks
Paul
Hello Paul,

Hm. Is it possible for you to explain further about the issue? I'm not quite understand by the 4 comment options in easyblog. If you follow the path from my previous reply you should see something like this, http://screen.stackideas.com/2015-05-06_1033.png

Please advise

I have tried to login in your site, but i hitting this : Username and password do not match or you do not have an account yet.
By the way, do you mean that Komento comment Like link?

Actually those comment system you mentioned, that is almost the same, but each comment system also have their own specify point.
If you would like the comment show in the module and auto create a stream in Easysocial, then you have to decide to use Komento.
because Komento can achieve this. By the way, you have to download the komento app from http://stackideas.com/apps/item/9-comments then install from your backend > Easysocial > application > install.

Hi Arlex
I think I've settled on Komento now....
Does the Facebook option post to the user's timeline or something? Or the site's FB page?

As for the 'Like This' thing..I've attached a screenshot of a blog to show you...but it's weird, as only some of the blogs do this!

If you go to http://communityiwestlancs.org/westlancs-local-news-ormskirk-skelmersdale and then the 3rd blog entry down, then you'll see my screenshot.
But blog posts one and two don't show it???

Have redone my logins for you.

Thanks
Paul

Hi Paul Varney ,

Sorry for late reply to this,

I have checked in your first post -> Coffee plus so much more…….

it seems like that Like This' thing. is actually come from the user copy the content from some way and put in the Easyblog content, so it just show out the "Like this" stuff.

Does the Facebook option post to the user's timeline or something? Or the site's FB page?

Yes, you can setup your Easyblog Facebook autoposting, which mean that when the user publish their blog post in your site, this blog post also will auto generate a stream appear in their Facebook user profile page.

Do you mean that the location on where to choose the comment types of easyblog commenting system? You can find it from your backend > easyblog > settings > comments > integrations. If not can you elaborate more on this question? Please advise

No Ezrul....it wasn't there...

It only gave the 4 options that I mentioned earlier...Komento, Built in Comments, Easysocial Comments and Facebook Comments

And I'm sure that I could only choose one of them....
