Hello we have Easyblog installed on our website which is Joomla Version 1.5.26. However we realized today that our readers are unable to comment. When they hit the submit button nothing happens.

On the backend I am seeing "Warning: Creating default object from empty value in /home/collisio/public_html/administrator/components/com_plugins/views/plugin/tmpl/form.php on line 21". What does this mean and is this the reason why readers are unable to post comments? How can we resolve?

I have attached a link to one of our posts for you to test.
Hello Darryl,

It looks like some javascripts in EasyBlog isn't loaded and this actually causes the comment form to malfunction. Is it possible for you to provide us with the back end and FTP access to your site to check on this issue?

Hi Darryl,

I've checked in your site, it seems like your current template causing this issues, can you try temporary set Joomla default "beez" template, it should work fine now.

By the way, can you consult with your current template regarding this and see how it goes?

Hi Arlex,

Would the switch to the default template be temporary to allow us to resolve the issue? Currently a permanent switch to the default template is not an option for us as it will significantly affect the look of our website.

If this we need to do a temporary switch we can do this later tonight at about 10PM (10AM your time). We would also allow you to speak with someone more familiar with Joomla to resolve the issue. Please advise.

Hi Darryl simmons,

I'm really sorry that delayed of this reply and confusion here,

What i mean is when I tried to set different template in your site example : JA_Purity (JoomlArt.com) , then I trying to submit a comment using this template, it work fine. And what my suspect is your current template "ja_teline" conflict something with us regarding the Easyblog ajax, so when you click on the submit button, it will not show out any respond.

Perhaps you directly consult with JoomlArt.com template developer and see how it goes.

Hello Arlex,

After some back and forth with the template designer, they have still come to the conclusion that the issue is not with the template. Please see most recent response below:

"I re-checked on your site again, but it still see jQuery lib from Easy Blog did not load: http://awesomescreenshot.com/09d4nzut26 about due to our policy, the fixes bug from 3rd party exceeds the scope of our service. I'm so sorry about this."

Can you look into this again please?

Hi Darryl,

Thanks for getting back to us,

Take a look of my video. http://screen.stackideas.com/2015-04-30_0227.swf

When the video start, I changed to "JA_Purity" template( this template also developed by JoomlArt), but the important point is this work fine without show the jquery error from Easyblog.

After that I changed back to original template, then hitting this jquery error.

In my opinion, perhaps you have to consider to change another template so the user can comment on your article without any issues.
