Sorry to be posting so many tickets/posts, but seem to be having issues since upgrade. I currently have "comments" enabled on backend for both post and replies, but the comment button is not appearing. The "quote" button is, but it doesn't "quote" (at least with JCE editor) but seems to post exactly as a reply.
Hello Kane,

I am really sorry for the delay of this reply as it is a weekend for us here.
Thanks for provide us with the registered user credential detail, it seems like you haven't set "Add comment" permission to your registered user group yet, i have help you enable this permission from your backend > Easydiscuss > ACL > Registered user group > Add comment - YES ( http://screencast.com/t/qIEuOFcVHqgE )
Hope this help.

Hello Kane,

I tried to post a comment in a reply and a discussion at the site and it seems to work fine as you can see here, http://screencast.com/t/6yz0qyZF2HA .

One of our biggest mistake in EasyDiscuss 3.0 was that we allowed you to configure the editor to allow custom WYSIWYG editors. While this work fine for some editors, not every editor works fine. This includes the "Quote" as there is no way to inject the contents into the editor for all types of editors currently

Ok, another layer has revealed itself. I gave you a superadmin user to test, which, yes the comment button appears, however, when I log in with my registered user account, the comment button is not available. It seems it is only available to superadmins and not registered users. I went I have created a user with registered permissions and have entered the credentials below.

Regarding the quote/editor issue. I totally understand, I was reading through some old forums and saw some of the issues with introducing a wysiwyg... With that said, I still like the option to use a wysiwyg even though it doesn't populate the field with the quote. it is just easier for most to use.
