haha..just seen that you added the (comment images direct inside lightbox) request in ES 1.2.x would be great if we could use a similar comment option also for Easyblog images within single Blog entrys.

Yeah, we are trying a few different stuffs in EasySocial and we'll probably port it over slowly. I know 4.0 has been a while but believe me, it will be worth the wait Let us get organized first!

I have never said that it is not a "cool feature" It is indeed a very cool feature but there's a problem with such features You cannot link the comments of the blog post into the image. Imagine if you have 5 images in the blog post, posting comments on each of the image would not allow you to track these comments.

hi mark, yes thats right but we have to separate here image comments and comments of the blog! i'm not sure about the technical part of comments in image popup but it's possible..please click on the showed Image Thumb (Fall colors along the Escanaba River) here: http://www.travbuddy.com/travel-blogs/44289/ and you see what i mean.
imagine a blogger added 10 Images inside Blog Content and guests want to comment the 3. Image! How can they do that in current Easyblog? Should they add a @3. Image..bla,bla..Comment into the EB Comment write form?

Thanks, but I am not too sure if we would implement this yet. I still think that it would be quite crazy to keep loading up the image in order for you to view the comments. For example, if you display recent comments in the module, it doesn't know where to link to.

i untertand what you mean with "it doesn't know where to link to"..that is a problem. for the "view the comments" issue we could show a little overlay counter icon inside each image thumb like it works in ES Album view. see screenshot

but for the link issue i have currently no idea. but however it's still a cool feature
