I was just wondering why there wasn't an EasySocial community and then someone pointed me in the direction of this, fantastic!

Andrew, we'll probably be only adding our own community later after EasyBlog 5 and EasySocial 1.4

Just came across this; did the idea fizzle out? The site's front page is a countdown long ago expired.

I'm guessing so, only 11 votes for it! I also reminded that StackIdeas mentioned they would put in a community (like a certain other company with a similar products does!) after the next releases of EB and ES 1.4, so may come some time. Such a shame as you would have thought any company that made a social app would be really keen to run it for users of all their products as a great way of giving support, getting feedback, creating community and of course showcasing how good it is!

Yes I agree a community with out a community is like a whiskey bar with out whiskey ;-) Sure it is more work for the SI team in the short term but in the long term I can imagine it getting people out of the SI forums and into a community environment with users helping each other with problems/challenges etc…
