Well, a member tells me he received that notification after I liked a stream item referring to him having published a blog.

I see you are in my site right now. Please check relationship status between Steffen Duus and Marie Glerup. They both added eachother, but neither side got a notification to confirm.

I tried to replicate the issue by doing what you have mentioned. I've created new user and like the stream post about published a blog and I get the correct notification string: http://screencast.com/t/rvOkxS1Xera . Did I missed anything? Please advise.

I'm sorry but I can't replicate it. Anyway, I've liked this stream item: http://screencast.com/t/rAbc8sR7m4cP . Can you check with the user, did he get the same issue with the notification? Or you can provide us the user access details so we can easily debug it since we can't replicate with other user. You might want also provide us your FTP access. Please advise.

if you check the mysql, check also Steffen Duus' account, not just Steve/Advanttage... Steffen has had many odd bugs that only he has experienced. Especially check relationship status between him and Marie. Steffen has has lots of problems with EasyDiscuss in particular.

Can you please try again the like issue, see whether it is working or not. As for relationship status, I can see Steffen doesn't has any relationship with anyone. Can you please elaborate more on this? And also the problems with Easydiscuss.

Sure, first Marie added Steffen as her Boyfriend, it told her it was awaiting his approval. He never got a relationship request. Then he tried to add her, she never got a relationship request. It seems the relationship plugin is broken, because I have seen others complain here on the forum.

In terms of EasyDiscuss, well, he got these errors when opening EasyDiscuss (Refer to screenshots), I fixed them by disabling Show Custom Fields under the Tabs section in the admin menu. After that he could not see his own custom role badge (COO). They might work now, not sure, but he complained about 2 or 3 things, that no one else has experienced, so I figured his account might have a corrupt database.

P.S. I can confirm that atleast on my computer, the language string issue is fixed. I will have to wait till tomorrow to confirm with him, but I do think it has been fixed. Thanks a lot Hopefully you can also fix the relationship plugin, and potentially investigate why Steffen has had the errors posted above.

I'm really sorry that delayed of this reply,
It seems like that was new alert rules for the relationship, when i try to process discover from your backend > EasySocial > Alert, then you can get the notification who send a request relationship with you. Check my screenshot below.

Regarding with the EasyDiscuss error message :

When I click on the relationship status request, it gives me the following error:
There is an error retrieving your Facebook details. Facebook returns an error message of: "An active access token must be used to query information about the current user."

Regarding on your second issues :
