Hello Ivy,

I believe you are hitting this error because your hosting provider might have a firewall in place that prevents our scripts from connecting our site to download the "files".

Can you check with your hosting provider as to why outgoing connections has been disabled as it will also affect our "latest version check" to notify you when there is a newer version in place.

Another issue which I noticed is also your disk quote is insufficient when it was trying to install modules, the FTP is complaining about disk quota being exceeded.

Hi Mark,

I saw you already update some code for us, though it still not function right, with every menu options(like categories...still direct to the installer)
*the server should work fine with firewall, since we just upgrade some code using core updates.
*the server quota is still available, and i have set the ftp account to unlimited.

Hey Ivy,

I am sorry for the delay of this reply,

I've tried to upload the launcher installer file in your Joomla installer page, it seems like I hitting different error now, you can check my attached screenshot below.

Regarding this error, it is common Joomla error when your site's file/folders permission aren't correct somehow.

The problem was indeed an file owner/group problem. Can you consult with your Webhosting provider to help you check the file permissions and chown for all files and folders to the correct owners on your server? All files need to be writable by the webserver user.

// Example this directory path :
/home/cocoartt/public_html/968hair/tmp/
