Everytime I try to change or edit a link color using color picker I get two issues, one I doesnt allow me to simply copy paste the RGB color code and second it doesnt work properly, when I drag the picker to suitable color it just jumps around and goes back to previous color by itself, please fix it or provide solution asap. Thank you
What color picker are you using and for which product Tancredi?

I'm a customer just like you - so I have no idea where your blog is.

When I had some issues with EB myself, I tried to change the editor (had been using JCE) and it resolved. Maybe try that?

If you do, be sure to clear your system cache.

good luck,

Bridgette

Hello,

I am really sorry for the delay of this reply as it is a weekend for us here. This is actually a known issue when you are using the built in composer. The problem with it, is because you cannot have 2 input focus at the same time and as you click on the textbox to focus on the input, your input on the text would be lost. We are still trying to find a solution for this as this is a tricky one.

I would suggest that you stick with the normal WYSIWYG editor instead for now.

Not too sure what do you mean "right on the right side". Could you provide me with the screen shot of this behavior please?

basically with text selected color doesnt change or it just goes random no matter the actual color selection, id say this is a typical case of schizophrenic color picker, see screenshot, it would be great if you could solve this asap as I cant have always links in different nuances would like to stick with one color but also (cant copy paste inside color picker RGB field)

Hello Tancredi,

As mentioned in my post earlier, this is a known issue and it is a tricky fix as it involves a lot of iframe. Temporarily, if you need to really change the color, consider switching to the standard WYSIWYG editor. You need to create a new post after switching to WYSIWYG editor because posts that are created with the built in editor will always open in the built in editor.

Hello Tancredi,

Go to settings > general > composer and switch the editor to TINYMCE or JCE. That would give you a different altogether when composing your blog post.

The one that you are using is a built-in editor which we developed for EasyBlog
