HELP HELP HELP

All my sites after update to latest Easyblog versions have error 0 - Class 'EasyBlogHelper' not found

NEED IMMEDIATE ATTENTION!

How can I get prior version to mitigate this issue?
Hello Abraham,

Where are you seeing these errors? This issue is most likely caused by a 3rd party plugin or module on your site that relies on a legacy code (since 2013) from EasyBlog.

I tried to access https://jaap-adventures.com/my-blog/ but did not hit any errors.

Hello Abraham,

As expected, this issue is triggered by a 3rd party plugin. Specifically the plugin JSN Page builder, https://take.ms/v1dIX as it was relying on a class that has been deprecated since 2013. To fix this I have applied a temporary fix in /administrator/components/com_easyblog/includes/easyblog.php

So do i inform JSN about this issue? or just use this code on other sites?

Yes, you should provide the screen shot to Joomlashine and tell them to use the class EB instead of EasyBlogHelper. In the next release of EasyBlog, we'll add this back to fix all these legacy issues but ideally these 3rd party plugins should update their plugins.

Understood. So this class was in the prior version, but not in latest?

Yeah, we actually deprecated this since 2013 - 2015 but it looks like all these developers aren't updating their codes

We decided to add this back into 5.4.2 again, to avoid sites crashing.

Great any idea when 5.4.2 will be out? so i can apply update without issues. I refrain from 5.4.1. I need to redo lots of stuff.

Hello Abraham,

It will be this week. If you can't wait for the update, you can just update the rest of the site and copy the file /administrator/components/com_easyblog/includes/easyblog.php from this toddysknoxville.com site.
