Hi,

When I send someone a message with a link enclosed in brackets, the closing bracket gets added to the link, leading to a 404.

Eg. if the message includes this line:
When I was looking at a page the other day (see https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Abiogenesis)

And the recipient clicks the link, the ) is appended to the link when it's opened in a new window, leading to a 404.

I checked and the issue doesn't occur when posting on the ES timeline but only in messages. Seems like someone reported a similar issue with email addresses a while back here
