Clicking Search button with no search criteria behaviour

Hi

If a user (accidentally or intentionally) presses the search button having not entered any search criteria they are redirected to a blank search page with no message.

Is it possible to display a message to them in this scenario e.g. "Please enter search criteria and try again" similar to when message is displayed if no search results found for the selected search criteria?

Hi Peter Hay,

Can you download the attached file and replace it in the :
JOOMLA_FOLDER\components\com_easyblog\themes\wireframe\search\default.php
and see how it goes? This is temporary fix and I've logged this issue into our issue tracker and our developers will take and action regarding this
