Hi,

Happy with easyblog and how it works. Not happy with the migration process. All features and functions work perfectly on the dev site but not on the live site.

IE, subcription pop ups come up blank on live site, calendar does not render.

We've removed all references to the dev site on the live site. The configuration file also has been edited to reflect the migration. Haven't modified the htaccess files.

the live site is http://www.carligious.com

the dev site is dev.carligious.com

we can provide joomla admin access upon email request

Many thanks,

Andrew
Hi,

Just thought I'd give some feed back. Still debugging checking this. It seems that as there was an index.html file on the site as a landing page before the site goes formally live and this was causing the issue. Removed index.html and everything started working? Not sure why this would have such an impact on the easyblog software? An explanation as to why this would be an issue would be appreciated...

Many thanks,

Andrew

Hey Leanne,

I am really sorry for the delay of this reply as the entire team was in some extensive meeting yesterday. If there's an index.html file, it actually affects the AJAX calls. If you need to keep the index.html file, you need to configure EasyBlog's ajax calls to use the index.php instead. To do this, go to Settings > System and enable the option "Use index.php for ajax calls".
