I have check your site and the reason why spam topic is added because it seems like your email address on EasyDiscuss Email Parser is the same as your cpanel. http://screencast.com/t/xxlypMow9 and http://screencast.com/t/eCThBoQ8SjiZ . Please change your email address on cpanel to another email.

Regarding you did not get EasyDiscuss admin notification, you need to set the cronjob in cpanel. I check your cpanel, you didnt have the current cronjob. Here the screenshot: http://screencast.com/t/4g4fHl7dPso .

It seems like the wget path is incorrect. You might want to consult your webhosting for the correct path. To see if the cron in ED is working or not, you can try to run this URL: http://yoursite.com/index.php?option=com_easydiscuss&task=cron and check the email status.
