Thanks for sharing! I love this idea but unfortunately we do not rely on Joomla's templating architecture and the primary reason is because they come with a cost. When Joomla decides to update the architecture in v4.2 / 4.3 / 5.0, we end up with an extreme tedious process of maintaining the product to work across all versions.
