Hi,

I would like to add check boxes to the registration process, and depending on which is checked, assign the user to that Role. I have seen the functionality of creating Profile Types and then enabling Allow in Registration, but this is not quite what I want.
See the Checkboxes as the last item on http://thehuntingnoticeboard.temporarywebsiteaddress.com/administrator/index.php?option=com_easysocial&view=workflows&layout=form&id=5
Hi there,

Correct me if i am wrong. Did you meant that, once user selected those checkboxes, they will automatically assigned to that particular profile type? Unfortunately, it is not possible for us to achieve this currently

But i would suggest you to use 'conditional field' instead as you can see here http://take.ms/EGkjY. Using this feature, you can show/hide those fields based on one fields.

For example, once your user click on the checkboxes, as for example, 'Previous MFH', those necessary fields, that related to 'Previous MFH' will shown on your end.

Please give it a try and see how it goes.

Hi Warith,
The solution you have suggested is useful for other scenarios, but for this one I will need to work something out. Maybe it could be a feature request?
thanks

Hey Marcus,

Hm, to be honest I am not sure if I understand your request here. When you mean "Role" what role are you referring to?
