Hello StackIdeas Support,

please tell me, how to use charme template in Lightmode as default for day and night. Seems as if only the other way round is possible at the moment?

Thank you and best regards, Macjoomla
Hi there,

Unfortunately, currently there is available option to set the lightmode as default. However, you can customize it by injecting "lightmode" class on body and set the toggle lightmode off.

Please do remember as this is a customization and it will get overriden by newer version. If you wish to have this feature incorporated in the template option, please submit a feature request in the future request section and we'll see how many people voted on this.

Thanks and please advise.

I'd like the light mode as default too. I've done the easy bit of disabling the toggle in the backend settings, but how do you 'inject lightmode class on body' as mentioned above?

Charm was created because customers were requesting for a dark based template and it is ironic that people prefer a light version haha. Added this ticket into our internal issue tracker and we'll add another option in the next release to make it "light" via a settings.

Thanks Mark. Appreciate and looking forward to it!

I've always preferred the light templates - but I couldn't resist the charms of Charm.
