I have recently added another profile type but cannot see where I can select this for existing users. How do I assign a new profile type to these people?
hey andrew,
you can go to your easysocial backend -> users
then in the upcoming user list select the users you want to change the profile type by clicking the checkbox in front of the name and then in the top navigation click on "switch profile". http://screencast.com/t/nS6PMDly75W

when you click this button a new window will appear where you can change the type. hope that helps and have a nice day

Hello Andrew,

I am really sorry for the delay of this reply as it is a weekend for us here. You can actually change the user's profile by accessing the Users area at the back end of EasySocial

Yeah I can change the users profile, but I can't see where I change the 'Profile Type'. Currently they are set as 'Registered Users' I created another profile type called 'Moderators' and wanted to move a few users to that profile type.

I can wait until the weekend is over. Thanks for the quick response already.

Hello Andrew,

Hm, sorry but I am a little lost here. When you change a user's profile, its actually the same as changing the user's profile type? Or am I missing something here?

Alex, thanks for the detail. I checked everywhere except the top menu .lol I tend to not use that top menu. Obviously there are other ways of getting around.
Thanks for your help.
