Hi there, my network is a professional business network and their are some phrases on the site that are not appropriate as a result that would of course be appropriate in say a more social type of network.

For example I am looking to change the Word 'My Friends' where it appears to "My Network' and also the words 'Friends' to 'Connections" and then on say a user profile it says 'Add as friend" and this should say "add contact" here.

What is the easiest way to do this in Easysocial V2.x ?

Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks James
Hi there,

What is the easiest way to do this in Easysocial V2.x ?

The easiest way for you is to do is by going to your frontend language file fro example .../language/en-GB/en-GB.com_easysocial.ini and search for designated strings. For example, "Add as friend", you can search on above file designated by "COM_EASYSOCIAL_FRIENDS_ADD_AS_FRIEND" string. Changed them, and it will changed on your frontend wording.

The other way is by using language override as you can access it at your Backlend>Extension>language>Language override, But still you need to know each one of the string that designated for each word you need to change.

Maybe if you required more helps, maybe you can provide us with all screenshot on where you need to edit the wording and i will search those string for you and change it for you also

You are required to provide back end and ftp access for us.
