Hello,

The default language on my Joomla application is en-GB.

I was able to change the date format that appears on the EasyBlog posts by using a language override on the constant DATE_FORMAT_LC1 as per your documentation.

In the same way, is it possible to override the date format on the front-end blog compose screen for 'Creation Date' and 'Publish Date' fields?

I am attaching a screenshot of the fields I mean.

Which constant should I be looking for?

if you could offer me some guidance, I would be very grateful.
Hey there,

Currently, we don't have a setting that can change the datetime format on front end. I'll report this problem to our developer and see what better solution they can come up with. Will keep you update then.

Thanks!

Hey there,

After discussing with developers, it was found that modifying the date&time format from the composer datetime field is not available.

The main reason this datetime format cannot be simply overridden is that the datetime validate part only checks for the default datetime format (DD/MM/YYYY HH:mm).

Therefore, in the next major release version, we will try if we can find a better solution to handle this.

Thanks

This would be important for me, as anyone in the US uses MM/DD/YYYY and you have DD/MM/YYYY.

When sorting by latest or oldest this will be very confusing when trying to edit the creation date.
