Hi,

I have bought the package to use for teaching on an internal network (no outside access, local server only). This means my students all have a folder on the same server, and will be installing multiple copies. To be able to install, I had to add a domain. I tried to enter my server's local IP address as suggested, but this kept giving me an error. I then added "localhost", which it accepted, but I think this will stop me from being able to install it successfully.

How do I change my managed domain to support my local server?

Thanks,

Andrew
Hi Andrew,

You should be able to install multiple copies on a local webserver even without setting a licensed domain. I would recommend using the full installer. If you want to use the launcher to install, the launcher would have to download the files from our server.

If this does not work, you can try setting localhost and see how it goes.

If you have any errors, can you provide us a screenshot so we can take a look?

Hi,

Yes, thanks, thats okay! I had some issues with installing it, and wondered if it might be because setting a domain changed the installer, but thanks to your quick response, I was able to rule that out!

Thanks for your help!

You're most welcome Andrew. Normally if there's an issue related to license, there would be an error mentioning it.

Anyway, glad to know I was able to help you rule it out.

Regards.
