Changing EasyDiscuss "Home" Page

Good morning, guys!

I'd like to learn how to change the "home page" for EasyDiscuss. I mean, when clicking on it on the Main Menu (frontend), it will go to the website/discussions. But, for my clients and for my project needs, it would be way more intuitive and practical if it showed the categories structure instead: website/discussions/categories.

I made this possible years ago, in an older version. And now I can not remember or find a way to do it again.

And good morning! As for your request, this might have to do with your menu item settings. You can change the EasyDiscuss's "Home" page to show categories as shown here http://screencast.com/t/RWnCwRDu

I think I just found a solution. Kept for so long trying to find it under EasyDiscuss settings, but the solution I found now was changing the "Menu Item Type" from "Frontpage Layout" to "Categories Layout". Hope it's the right thing (is it?), and sorry for this now pointless thread.

By the way, it would be best if you guys can create a hidden menu item for Easydiscuss (frontpage), because it could help your discussion URL look better.

To create this :
1. Add new menu -> type 'hidden menu'
2. Go to this 'hidden menu'
3. Click Add
4. Select "Easydiscuss (frontpage)" menu item
5. Save
