Hi,

The registration and confirmation e-mail that is received after a user registers looks poor and unprofessional.

I am not able to find where to customize this.

Where can i fix this issue?

File is attached.
Hi there,

You can do template override on this one as if you made any customization, it will be overwritten once you have made any update/upgrade to your site. You can refer here https://stackideas.com/docs/easysocial/administrators/templating/customizing-email-template on how to do template override on current email template.

Please advice.

Thanks for your response.

I'm new at this so I'm on a steep learning curve. I have tried following those directions but no clue how to get to that section and the 'html' part is missing when I check the ftp for /components/com_easysocial/themes/wireframe/emails/html/template.php

If you could explain how to get to this section, it would really help.

Hello Gary,

I am sorry for the confusions here. I believe Warith was referring to the path /components/com_easysocial/themes/wireframe/emails/template.php . There is no /html/ for EasySocial and you should be able to see this file via FTP.

By the way, when you mean the e-mail isn't professional, would you mind elaborating more on this please? Are you referring to the images that doesn't render on the e-mail?

Hi, Mark,

Thank you for your response.

You are correct about the image not showing on the e-mail. I noticed that for some reason, gmail choose not to render that e-mail address. As it never does this with others, I did not notice it. So it looks better now.

In any case, I do wish to customize it so I'll certainly give that a go.

Thank you.

Hello Gary,

If I recall correctly, the reason why Google isn't rendering images on the e-mail is probably because the mail provider isn't trusted automatically. Once you tell it to render images, Google should intelligently learn from your behavior.

Sure, let us know if you need any help with the customization structure
