Changing domain - what settings need to be changed?

Hi,

I am preparing to go live with the current testpage from sub domain to the original one. Of course the configuration of Joomla needs to be updated. Now I need to know what and where are the settings of Easysocial, Easydiscuss and Converse Kit needs to be updated? I do not use a CDN currently.

Hello Horst,

I am really sorry for the delay of this reply as it is a weekend for us here. The paths stored in our extensions are relative paths so you don't need to change anything on the database.

Hello Horst,

There is really nothing needs to be done but just to be sure, you should perform an installation of our extensions again to ensure that the files are in sync. Sometimes if you are copying the files from your local to the server, you may miss some of them.

Hi Mark, thanks for your Feedback! I am going to change the subdomain to the main one. Additionally I am going to change the direct name from the sub domain name to the main one ..... bite directories are already on the server. This means I have to change the Joomla configuration file and I think the directories (avatars, photos, videos ....) within Easysocial. For Easysdiscuss I don't know if there is also something to change.

I am going to change the directory of the joomla installation from "joomla.rhein-neckar-transporte.de" to "rhein-neckar-transporte.de" ....
