Hi, I'm trying to update the Author Avatar in the "Edit Author->BlogSettings" menu and it says that I need the builtin avatar feature because I can't change the image at all.

Do I need to install a new component to do this? Could you explain more in details on how to change it?

Hi Michael,

It depends on what you configured for the 'Avatar Source' setting at Settings>Layout>General>Avatars http://take.ms/XtMk1

If you set it to default, then you can change the avatar from Edit Author>Blog Settings.

If you set it to a different component, for example EasySocial, then you would be unable to change the avatar there: http://take.ms/z9Qov
