I have a link to the blog home page as a menu item pointing to miosito.com / blog.html but if active display of home button in EasyBlog this link points to miosito.com / blog / latest.html
How can I make sure that the link icon is equal to my menu?
thanks a lot

stefano
Hello Stefano,

All you need to do is to copy the file /components/com_easyblog/themes/default/toolbar.php . Please take note that since you are on the Pro subscription, support is available for 1 site only

Since EasyBlog by default loads the front page view, I guess it's fine to not include the view=xxx in the home icon. I have applied some fixes for you on the site and it should link correctly now.

I realized now that there is an error in the change that you made, if you go here
http://www.enthous.it/blog.html now the link in the toolbar on the home pointing to the same url but there is always pointing to the canonical / blog / latest.html how do I change it?

Hello Stefano,

Can I know how is the canonical tag being generated for the latest blogs page? If I recall correctly, it isn't generated by EasyBlog. EasyBlog only generates the canonical tag in the entry view.

Hello Stefano,

So sorry for the delay in getting back to you. I have made some changes to the

JOOMLA/components/com_easyblog/views/latest/view.html.php

at line 95

$canonicalUrl   = EasyBlogRouter::getRoutedURL( 'index.php?option=com_easyblog' , false , true, true );

Hope this helps.

Thanks!
