Is it possible to change the text on a button in from the loginbox in JA Social II?
For example, I want to change this text ('conversations) into something else:

Normally I change these settings in the default languagefile, but in this case it's not in there.
How and where do I change this?

I've changed a setting under the template JA Social II in file 'en-GB.tpl_ja_social_ii.ini'

I've change 'conversations' to 'messages', but still this doesn't change the site....

I just checked your site and it's actually in /language/en-GB/en-GB.tpl_ja_social.ini

Hey Jan,

I am really sorry for the delay of this reply as it is a weekend for us here. I am not really sure which module is this. Is this module from Joomlart or EasySocial's module? The login that you provided isn't working so I can't really test this

Hi Mark,

No worries here, I understand it's weekend ;-)

You should be able to login now :-)
I changed my login and forgot to update it at site details.

You need to edit the language file in /language/en-GB/en-GB.mod_easysocial_menu.ini

Hi Mark,

Editing the file doesn't help me

Sorry for not providing you the module information; it's 'EasySocial Login'

I've also looked into the languagefile 'en-GB.mod_easysocial_login.ini', but can't find any references in here.
Thanks for responding.

It is not the login module. It's the menu module.

Ah ok... thing is, when I edit the 'en-GB.mod_easysocial_menu.ini', it isn't being applied:

I edit the following file:
/"public_root"/language/en-GB/en-GB.mod_easysocial_menu.ini

Am I missing something?

What language are you using? Did you purge the cache? If Joomlart defined these language in their language file, you also need to remove it form their language file because then it would be conflicting.

I'm using en-GB.
I purged the cache several times.

I've actually renamed the language folder in under the template folder of Joomlart, so that link to the language files to Joomlart couldn't be used anymore.

I tried again, but still no luck

You are most welcome Jan By the way, you should get in touch with Joomlart to not define their own language strings, otherwise we end up in a chicken and egg situation here.

Yeah I wasn't aware this was a Joomlart language file, I will contact them on this. But thanks for helping me out

P.s. I believe the chicken was first, because she needed to hatch out the egg
